Three historical ensembles of Berlin are, according to the UNESCO, of extraordinary cultural importance and thus worthy of preservation. In the UNESCO World Heritage List were recorded the Museum Island, the landscape of palaces and gardens between Berlin and Potsdam, and six Berlin Modernist housing estates. They are examples not only of different architectural styles, but also reflect the ideals of their eras. The World Heritage Day is every year on June, 2nd. Dreamy summer palaces that recount the past. Enchanting vast parkways with astonishing panoramic views. The Prussian Arcadia is a real life dream of eternal spring as well as a paradise composed of bright colours and serene architecture. The palaces and gardens found here are testimonies of a onetime history of art and culture.
