Hotel Features. Designed by Studio 54 creator Ian Schrager, the Hudson's lobby is draped by a forty foot canopy of ivy growing below the glass ceiling. A large chandelier hangs overhead and music plays in the background. The manicured and landscaped Sky Terrace offers panoramic views of the city. The Hudson Cafeteria, offering Ivy League dining but resembling a 1940s automat, serves comfort food with healthy options. Private Park, in the hotel's elevated lobby, resembles Central Park. Food and drinks are served among 45 foot trees and ivy covered walls. Outdoor heaters and a glass roof make this hideaway enjoyable year round. Two floors of the hotel are devoted to meeting facilities, and wireless Internet access is available in the lobby.

Guestrooms. The 1,000 Hudson guestrooms offer are modeled after sea faring vessels. Designer Felipe Starck furnished the guestrooms with navy inspired chairs and headboards with steamer trunk fabric and brass rivets. Wireless Internet access is available. Bathrooms include bathrobes and Agua toiletries.

Expert Tip. The bar's eclectic d?cor makes this hotspot a stand out among New York nightlife. Futuristic d?cor features a hand painted mural by Francesco Clemente and an illuminated glass floor.
