Hotel Poledrini in Foligno, Italy

Built at the turn of the 19th century, the small Hotel Poledrini is located in the historical center of Foligno in Umbria, and 400 meters from the local railway station. Each individual in their decoration, the 43 guestrooms have floral prints and dark wood furniture and a traditional family feel to them. All the rooms come equipped with air conditioning and minibars.
The hotel's restaurant, Il Baiocco, has a menu of local specialties, using fresh produce from the surrounding region; partitioning and soft lighting allow guests can enjoy a warm and intimate dining experience. Guests aren't short of places of interest to visit in Umbria. A short trip to Assisi and the Basilica di San Francesco, 14 kilometers away, will reveal floor to ceiling decoration and some of the finest frescoes in Europe. Guests may also wish to visit Casa Romano, thought to have belonged to the mother of Roman Emperor Vespasian. Alternatively, Perugia is a little further away (30 kilometers) and is home to numerous art galleries, the Carducci Gardens and an imposing Gothic cathedral Rome's from Rome to Foligno.
