Location. The Villa San Carlo Borromeo is located just outside Milan, Italy, one kilometre from the Alfa Romeo Museum, 12 kilometres from Milan city centre and 20 kilometres from Lake Como.
Hotel Features. Originally a 14th century palace, this beautifully restored grand hotel is situated in 11,000 acres of ancient parkland and features an immense lobby with an impressive chandelier, picture windows, original mouldings and a polished terracotta and cream tiled floor. There is an onsite museum which showcases major exhibitions. Internet access is available, and complimentary newspapers are offered in the lobby. The inviting Villa San Carlo's City Restaurant features classic decor with period furniture and oil paintings.
