Bally was founded in 1851 in Switzerland and it has since developed an international reputation for quality and design in both men's and women's shoes, leather bags and small leather goods. Although highly functional construction details such as tassels, studs and hardware in gold and palladium are bountiful, it is the technique applied that produces shoes and leather bags of superior performance. Award-winning American designer, Brian Atwood, was recently called up to join Bally to target the younger female customers on top of the already effluent clientele. The new Creative Director has plans to take Bally to a new level by rejuvenating the brand and injecting his form of glamour. Celebrity fans include Cameron Diaz, Molly Sims, of the TV hit Las Vegas and Josh Holloway of LOST fame, who was spotted in a pair of Bally shoes during the Golden Globe Awards.
