Mediterranean Cosmos is a shopping mall located in the east side of Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city. It opened in October 2005 and its the largest retail and entertainment development in the city and the Balkans. The contains more than 200 retail units and facilities including an 11-screen multiplex Cinema, numerous shops of fashion and electronics goods as well as a large number of caféterias, restaurants, bars, supermarket's, a 400-capacity theatre and an Orthodox Church. The mall is located about 5km away from Macedonia International Airport and is directly connected with Greek National Road 67, (the Thessaloniki-Chalkidiki motorway). Mediterranean Cosmos is in short distance from the busy suburb of Kalamaria and is in close proximity with the Interbalkan Medical Center.
