London, the political and economic capital of the UK, is one of the most visited cities in the world due to its charming and cosmopolitan character.  London has something special that engages and fascinates all those that visit.  London is a whirling mix of entertainment, culture, lights, and color.

This is a city that can surprise someone who is visiting for the first time, and even those who come back regularly.  Why do people love London?  Here’s a list of the night activities in which you can partake.

  1. Cirque Le Soir
With a show that goes from the extravagant to the surprising, Cirque Le Soir combines the circus with the world of the night. Every night you'll find performances by magicians, acrobats, clowns, contortionists and stilt walkers in a charming and electric atmosphere. It is a club for adults and select audiences, and of course, only those who are in the know about the top international DJ’s.

  2. Aqua Shard
Located on the 31st floor of The Shard, this restaurant and bar provides contemporary British cuisine with stunning views of the city.  The 3-story atrium bar is open all day with no reservations necessary and uses distinct ingredients to concoct signature cocktails.  Smart casual attire is required, because after all, this is a classy kind of place.

  3. Duck and waffle
This is an excellent restaurant in London, and with a menu like this, of course it stands out.  With a stunning view of the skyline, 40 floors up, they are the highest restaurant in the city.  The food is also superb.  It’s contemporary British and European cuisine, with a playful twist.  The duck & waffle is recommended, but all of the dishes look and sound delicious.  The menu is reasonably priced, but proper attire is still required, meaning no flip-flops or sports gear.

  4. Brick Lane
This area used to be associated with poor slums and the scene of the crime for the Jack the Ripper murders, but today it has turned into a popular hangout for the edgy and artistic crowd.  You’ll find several galleries, restaurants, markets and festivals throughout the year.  One of the bars you should visit while you’re in the area is the Big Chill bar. You can have coffee and free wi-fi in the morning, but at night, this is where the party is.

Boujis is another very popular club in the area of South Kensington.  Only the most influential people in the entertainment world are the DJ’s here, which means it brings celebrities from the likes of Kate Moss, Paris Hilton, Rhianna, and Fergie to this ‘oh so happening’ spot.  This place definitely has an experience to offer.  Boujis receives more media coverage than any other nightlife establishment internationally! Their motto: “Party hard, break the rules, it’s Boujis.”
